I decided to become a teacher, because of the influence my middle school band director had on me. She was compassionate, caring, and wanted to see me succeed. That was when I decided I wanted to become a music teacher.
What was you favorite class when you were in high school?
My favorite class in high school was Music Theory. It opened my eyes to everything that made music unique.
Are you married? Do you have any children?
I am not married, and I don't have a human child. But I do have a dog, named Coop.
What is your favorite band/artist?
My favorite pop musical artist at the moment (because it is always changing) is AJR. In classical music my favorite piece is Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland. My favorite band piece is On A Hymnsong of Philip Bliss.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies outside of music are reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching Netflix.
