Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National park is located about 56 miles north west of Denver Colorado.

Rocky Mountain National Park was established in January 26,1915.

The park was established because of the beauty in the land scape with its green valleys crystal lakes and tundra meadows. The park has over 300 miles of hiking trails to explore.

    Seasons

  • Winters are cold and have deep snow at high elevations
  • Springs are not snowy and not warm yet petty unpredictable weather
  • Summers wild flower Blum in late June and afternoon thunderstorms are common
  • Falls bring cool air normally dry climate and chance of early snows
